Description

(1200mm) 48" General purpose rake bucket suits applications where the robustness of our Land Clearance Rake or Riddle Buckets are not needed and also where a wider sweep is more important than absolute strength and digging power. Gaps between the bucket ribs are set at approximately 75mm. Front tines are made from Hardox® 450 steel for extra strength and wear resistance.

Made to order, normally 7-10 working days.

    General Purpose Rake Bucket Features

    Hardox® 450 Tines

We make the front sections of the rake tines using Hardox® 450 steel for extra strength and wear resistance.

This gives roughly 4 times the resistance to:

    • bending
    • twisting
    • impact and abrasion

with no extra weight penalty, compared to S275 mild steel.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Choosing your bucket

What rake gap do I need?

We offer two gap options for our General Purpose Rakes; 50mm and 75mm.

    The pros and cons are:

    • 50mm: sort and grades to a finer degree, heavier and slightly stronger.
    • 75mm: cheaper, lighter weight, less likely to clog.

    Where are DIGBITS buckets made?

Every single bucket we sell, from the very smallest, to the largest, is hand built in our own works here in Rugeley, Staffordshrie, United Kingdom.

Why do I have to measure my hitch?

A potential elephant trap. Everyone thinks they have a 'standard' hitch, until they get a bucket which does not fit.

The truth is more complex; the majority of excavator quick hitches and couplers are not fitted at the OEM factory, but by the dealer or even end user.

    CAUTION!
If you buy buckets that don't match your hitch, there's a very significant safety risk.

Always double check the basic dimensions of the buckets your machine uses. Never assume they are 'standard'.

It is much cheaper and much quicker for you to measure twice, and for us to only weld once!
Most of the time, you're in a rush when you're buying for a job start,
but a few minutes checking makes sure you hit the ground running as soon
    as the new kit arrives
